Spiritual Practice

 Date: June 14, 2025

After exploring the path of health and wellness, the journey toward spirituality now seems like the natural next step. I’ve always had some exposure to yoga, meditation, and spirituality, but today’s experience was different. On the invitation of Ramesh Bhai, I attended a media gathering at Brahma Kumaris in Siri Fort.

The event, titled “From Chaos to Clarity- Spiritual Tools for a Peaceful Mind,” was organized by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya. The focus was on how journalists and media professionals constantly surrounded by negative news-can protect their mental well-being by embracing spirituality in their daily lives.

In the constant noise and chaos of modern life, finding time for oneself is not just important for mental health but is also essential for spiritual growth. For media professionals, always on the run, spirituality might just be the much-needed anchor- a smart way to ease the stress.

Keeping our thoughts positive is crucial to shielding the mind from the effects of a toxic environment. After a deeply enriching spiritual session, it felt wonderful to reconnect with teachers, classmates, and juniors from the Film and TV Studies department at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan.

Taking time out to meet old friends and familiar faces brings its own kind of peace. For those of us glued to our desks, attending social events and reconnecting with people is often a challenge but things seem to be changing. Just a day after sowing the seeds of health, this touch of spirituality brought with it a refreshing burst of new energy into life.
